The aim of this research paper is to analyse the geographic distribution and socio-economic factors associated with the provision of aged care service delivery in Australia. In supporting this analysis, it will focus on the specific locations in Australia where care is critically needed, the geographic spread of aged care service delivery across Australia and, correlations between socio-economic classes and disease (AIHW 2014). It will effectively argue that there are areas of Australia that are disadvantaged with respect to this crucial requirement and need additional funding and support services to facilitate better aged care. In further analysing this topic, it must be highlighted that aged care is crucial in regards to sustaining a population and ensuring that its respective welfare and livelihood is maintained. When populations fail to address critical health needs irrespective of the age group or background involved, liabilities are established and there is greater risk of events and detrimental influences occurring that could further damage the respective interests of society (ACSA 2015).
I need to prepare literature review on this topic. The literature review should covers the areas such as access to aged care; equity in aged care service delivery among the australian states; equity between rural, remote and metropolitan areas. Equity includes funding, delivery of the service, etc.
