Instructions to students:
For this assignment you are required to explore and reflect upon your learning and development since starting the MBA programme.
Using examples from your learning log to support what you say, highlight the key themes and issues which have emerged from this analysis of your development and discuss what strategies you plan to adopt to
address development needs identified. You are also encouraged to use evidence from other sources (eg, questionnaire results, appraisals etc) where you feel that this is appropriate.
Discuss how you might build on this increased self awareness for your future personal and professional development indicating strategies and resources required to achieve your development goals.
NB:
It is important that you integrate relevant theoretical concepts into your discussion and demonstrate your ability to practically relate and critically evaluate theory in the light of your own experiences.
Supporting evidence (e.g. C.V., questionnaire results) should be included in an appendix.

(15% of overall mark) Personal audit of skills/competencies at the point of starting the module. This should be based on education/experiences prior to enrolling on the MBA programme.
Comparison should be made with skills of effective managers and leaders identified by academic research. Examples of ‘evidence’ to support your audit, eg:-

(40% of overall mark) Critically evaluative reflection of diagnostic tools used in the module and how they have helped enhance your understanding of your current strengths/weaknesses and areas for
