ASL (American Sign Language) Silent Dinner from Feb 7

Please take the information I up load: use it to get creative and write about "MY" personal

experience as a hearing individual(ASL student from Daytona State College) going to the mall for the silent

dinner. The meeting is students from Dayton State College and other individuals within the deaf community (see

notes I have uploaded from internet that you can use to assist – do not copy write in own words).

PLEASE NOTE IMPORTANT: Cultural Literacy consists of two main assignments.

The required format for the Deaf Event paper is as follow:

REQUIRED FORMAT: The paper should between 750-800 words (three pages), typed, 12 point, Times
New Roman or Ariel, double-spaced, and in MLA format. No title page, please. A sample of an MLA

1) Attend a meeting of the local Florida (Volusia County) Deaf clubs, Deaf events, Deaf activities, or other

meetings or workshops where groups of Deaf people are present. Other social interactions may be deemed

acceptable if approved beforehand.-> A report on your observations must be made to the instructor. Be sure

the date, what type of event and location are included. These typed papers should include the interaction and

reactions between you and the Deaf individual(s) and must explain your perspective and insights as well as

what you learned from the interactions. As the hired writer use your creative writing for this area (keep in

mind there were deaf students at the meet up and hearing students (hearing students are in ASL 1 and 2 – just
