Assignment 2 – Block 4
This written individual assignment (50%) involves reporting on the analysis of quantitative data that the student has collected as part of his or her thesis research, or in case such data are not yet available a

dataset that will be made available through Blackboard. The number of words is limited to 1500. The assignment will be graded as a pass or fail. Specifically the assignment will consist of the following parts:

Your research question, a description of the analytical strategy and the results.

The deadline for the second assignment is Friday, May 23rd 5pm. Late submissions will not be graded. If you fail the assignment, you will be given the opportunity to rewrite the assignment. The resit deadline

is Friday, June 13th 5pm.

General guidelines for the assignments

Cover Sheet:
Please provide the following information on a cover sheet for each paper:
o your name
o student eight digit number
o names of the lecturer
o course name
o the due date
o the assignment title
o word count

Paper:
o Papers should be prepared with a word processing program
o Use 1.5-space to distance the lines
Please use Times New Roman font in a 12-point size.
o Papers should have 2,5 cm all the way around. Please be aware that this may not be the default of your software program.
o Begin each paragraph with an indent of not more than one inch. Do not add an extra blank line between paragraphs.
o Please include page numbers.
o Only tables and figures that are necessary to explicitly prove a point in your paper
should be included. Tables should not be cluttered.
