Write a three-five page persuasive essay. This essay should be formatted as a term paper because this assignment will include an outline, a bibliography, and footnotes. Use the guidelines found in A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, Seventh Edition to write this term paper. You must use a minimum of three sources and have a minimum of two footnotes per page. Wikipedia is not an acceptable resource and may not be used as a source for this assignment. Choose one of the general topics listed below, then limit the topic to an appropriate thesis statement.

Use the following format for your writing assignment:
NOTICE
The paper must be double-spaced with a 12-point font and 1″ margins.
Indent the first line of each paragraph one-half inch from the margin.
Your paper will be graded following this criteria with a maximum total of 100 points.
Content – 50 points (thoroughness of material)
Mechanics – 30 points (spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, subject/verb agreement, correct verb tense) One point will be deducted for each error.
Essay format – 10 points (formal English prose)
Appearance – 10 points (title page, bibliography page, correct spacing, correct margins, 12-point font)
Be certain to capitalize ALL words referring to Deity or Bible Scriptures. (Unless you are directly quoting the Bible, capitalize all pronouns referring to Deity.) USE ONLY KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible
Italicize and put quotation marks around all verses that are written out.(Example: “For God so loved the world…”)
When giving the definition of a word, italicize the word and put the definition in quotation marks. (Example: The word authority means “power to influence or command thought, opinion, or behavior.” Since it is a direct quote from a dictionary, footnote the dictionary as reference material.)
Put all direct quotations in quotation marks.
Avoid the use of contractions or slang.
This report must be written in essay (prose) form in complete sentences with correct grammar and punctuation in a formal writing format.
List the source (minimum of three outside sources) of your material by including a bibliography. A helpful resource in creating a bibliography is EasyBib.
